Day 8 - Car Troubles

Today, I woke up and had to take our last working car into the shop. The insane Texas heat has caused the starter to fail as well as the battery. I had generally been able to get around this but when I went to the movie with Spencer on Sunday it totally failed then started to go all wonky (technical automotive term). Apparently the battery had gone out and was only running on 8 volts instead of 12 so was screwing with the cars computer and eventually killed the starter that was feeling overworked anyway about being the only car left. I stayed home and did some work and fretted about the car - I'm not very patient when it comes to most things and this would be one of them that stressed me out.
