Today, on the way home I was listening to NRP and there was bit on how much Jamaican musicians love country music. I remember when I was doing fieldwork in Nicaragua and they found out Montana and was familiar with country music - they immediately went and got their CDs so I could sit and listen to country music with them. We sat on the porch in Bluefields listening to Willie Nelson. The news item brought back fond memories.
