Project 365R D26: Jennifer's first bit of Knitting fame (4/15/2008)

Yesterday, Jennifer came home from work and told me that she was famous. A friend of ours had pointed her to a link from a blog called Knittin Honey and a post about Knitting in the Wild. The blogger had seen Jennifer's Caliometry (the thing on her head for the uninitiated in yarn speak) and taken her picture then subsequently posted it and blogged about it (welcome to the 21st century). She had actually received this as a gift from a fellow knitter from Turkey during a swap. As Jennifer becomes more ingrained in the knitting underground I'm amazed at the amount of people who have taken it up as a hobby (it is not for grandma's anymore) and then their creativity.
