P365R D24: Jayhawk nation (4/13/2005)

We headed downtown today to check out the parade for the NCAA championship Jayhawks with somewhere between 40,000 to 150,000 other fans. I'm not sure we were down between 14th and 13th street and it was packed. By the time the team rode by they were pretty much in shock. However, I have to admit Danny Manning avoiding the crazy drunk lady in the Jayhawk helmet was amusing. He still has some evasive maneuvers twenty years later.
